ABOUT THE OTTAWA DISTRICT

Special Olympics Ontario is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and competition opportunities for individuals with an intellectual disability. As part of the international Special Olympics movement, the Ottawa District Community of Special Olympics Ontario is committed to providing much needed physical education programs to more than 600 local athletes. Our programs are operated by over 250 dedicated volunteers.

Ottawa Physio Race – Sunday April 18th, 2010

Planning for the 22nd Ottawa Physio Race is well underway as the New Year approaches! We are very excited for this year’s race and are expecting a record turnout on another beautiful spring day! The race will take place Sunday April 18th, 2010, beginning at Immaculata High School on Main Street and will wind along the scenic Rideau Canal. This year’s proceeds will go to support the Ottawa District of Special Olympics Ontario.
